St.Peter Lutheran Church

"Come and experience the excitement of worship at St. Peter"

What is offered at St. Peter for your children and youth?

The Bible says that “children are a treasure from the Lord” (Ps. 127:3). And it’s easy to see why the Bible values children so highly when we look into the face of a beautiful child. When we teach, care for, and love children, we honor God for the gift he has given us.

St. Peter offers effective and creative Christian Education for all children on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Bring any child ages 0 - high school and there will be a place for them to learn the great stories of the Bible.

St.Peter Lutheran Mini-Day camp

St.Peter offers a week long mini-day camp in the summer vacation months. Typically lasting for three hours, children bring their friends for games, crafts, music, fishing, hay rides, and even a swim party.

Kids Club

ST. Peters' kids club meets at the church at 6:30 on Thursdays at the church. Some of the activities planned are: camp-out, mini-golf, laser tag and many more activities. See Pastor Matt for details!!!!!!!

Special Activities

St. Peter provides opportunities for children to participate in Christmas plays, Easter Egg Hunts, Church Camps, and much more. Join us for a 3 hour mini-camp for children entitled What's So Good About Good Friday?

Disciple Training

Baptism

One of the greatest celebrations St. Peter has is the celebration of baptism. Baptism marks an individual’s entrance not merely into the church, but into God’s royal household and holy priesthood. Anyone considering becoming a Christian or raising their children as Christians are encouraged to speak to Pastor Matt.

Our most recent baptism Nicholas Tyler.

Small Groups

One of the most effective ways to grow in our relationship with God is to participate in a small group of 6 to 12 people that is intentional about living out the life of a disciple either through Bible study, service, or fellowship. All members and friends of St. Peter are invited and encouraged to participate in their small groups. See Pastor Matt for details of this exciting program!!!!!!!

Fun/Fellowship

The Bible says “How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God’s people to live together in harmony” (Ps. 133). In addition to having a vision for mission, one of the most significant indicators for a healthy congregation is how well it plays together. As we provide opportunities for relationships to grow and deepen through play, we enrich people’s lives and Christ’s mission in the world.

Some of the events that mark the church calendar are a church campout, all-Church Picnic, Cincinnati Reds Outing, and white water rafting. Any other ideas? We're always excited about trying something new!!!!

Care/Concern

The Prayer Chain

Whenever a member, a friend, relative, acquaintance, or neighbor have a particular joy or frustration, the concern is forwarded to a member of the Prayer Chain, who then relays the concern to other members of the Prayer Chain. All members of the Prayer Chain then lift that person or concern before God in daily prayer.

The Food Chain

A large contingent of cooks stand ever ready to provide a meal to people going through a transition of some sort. Or for those time when it is difficult to simply prepare a meal, the Food Chain is there to help.
