AAL ARTICLE OCTOBER 2000 TIDINGS

Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) Branch 9992 is

sponsoring a showing of the film Bonhoeffer: Agent of

Grace Sunday, October 15, after the 11 a.m. worship

service, in Fellowship Hall.

 

A catered meal will be served before the showing, with

dessert and discussion led by Pastor Browning

afterwards.

 

A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.

 

The branch will provide crosses and host a reception

for confirmands Ray Wendeln, Katie Baker, Kristen

Patton, and Mark Hall on Sunday, October 29.

 

Also, elections for the AAL National Board of

Directors will be held that day with voting open after

both services.

 

District Representative Richard Sutter will present

the program "Mission Possible: Retirement Planning

for Busy People" Sunday, November 12, after the 11

a.m. worship service. Lunch will be served. A

sign-up sheet for this event also is on the bulletin

board.

 

The next Branch meeting will be Monday, October 16, at

6:30 p.m., in the Lounge.
