A VISION FOR PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH
We are a mission church and every member a missionary with all of us working together under the Lordship
of Jesus Christ empowered by his Gospel to share his love.
A MISSION FOR ALL CHRISTIANS...
Live worthy of our calling. Bear witness of the salvation found only in Jesus Christ. Relate to fellow Christians and
ALL people in the world in love and service.
BEING FILLED TO THE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF GOD
Because of the glorious riches poured out on us because we have been united to our Lord Jesus Christ in faith and life, the following are some critical targets to which we aim as we
fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
MINISTRY TO FAMILIES
Nurturing and strengthening every marriage and family would be a high priority in our congregation.
CHURCH LEADERS
Church leaders experience a sense of well-being and joy as they competently
carry out their God-given calling.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
People of all ages would know the one true God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent, know God's instruction for faith
and life contained in the Bible, being able to discern the difference between Law and Gospel.
SUPPORTING THE MISSION
Gospel motivated stewardship enables a full realization of the mission and ministry potential of our congregation.
VOCATION
Each Christian would use his or her God-given place in life to as a means to serve all people with the love of Christ.
OUTREACH
Intentional outreach to meet the needs of people of all cultures outside of our circles so that all may come to a
knowledge of the LORD through our witness and service.
SPIRITUAL NURTURE
The people in our congregation are spiritually mature. "Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to
offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--which is your spiritual worship. Do not confirm any
longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and
approve what God's will is his good, pleasing, and perfect will" (Romans:12)
