Preschool

Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool is a Christian preschool ministry. The program emphasizes a caring, Christian environment in which to develop and nurture the whole child --- spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. This is accomplished through the use of a child based curriculum that includes worship, Bible stories, creative play and developmentally appropriate activities.

The Teacher

Lisa Janus is the director and teacher of the preschool. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1986 and is a State of Wisconsin certified teacher. Since her graduation Lisa has been involved in the teaching and administering of new early childhood programs and has also taught first and second grades in the Lutheran School system. She has been with us at Prince of Peace since our opening in September of 1986.

Days and Times of Operation

Preschool classes begin in September following Labor Day and run through May. Classes are held as follows:

Three year olds	Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:15 - 11:15
Four year olds	Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:15 - 11:45

The child must be either 3 or 4 years old by September 1st and toilet trained to be enrolled in the class.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition may be paid in full on the first day of class, or may be paid by the semester (first day of class in September and January), or by the quarter (first day of class in September, November, January and March). If the child begins class after the first day of school, tuition will be pro-rated.
